I had 800 x 600 DLP project before this one, oh my what a difference 1080p makes.. ! the price was best at the time of purchase at overstock.com I read many reviews on various different projectors before purchasing this one. pros: - great 1080p image - works well with ps3 gaming - works well with PC video playback - built in speakers are pretty good for general use, but u obviously want a better external one for theater like quality. - settings have many modes, brightness, blank mode, eco mode, tells you how many hours the projector's been used - 2 HDMI plugs - used a DVI to HDMI cable to connect PC videocard to the projector - works well with radeon cards, but not with nvidia con - if you have this unit installed on a shelf somewhere it gets overheated and turns itself off in 20 minutes of video playing. - with that said, you must have this installed away from walls for better air flow - i suppose this is not really a con and probably all projectors do this - i am using this to show on a wall that's about ~25 or more feet away to make a ~18ft diagonal screen so the images aren't super crisp clear but still far better than the older projector i've used in the past. I'm happy with it. there's also a USB plug and i connected laptop cooler(w 3 fans) to help cool the projector down = lesser fan noise

Great Projector for the Price I bought the Pro8200 to have a true native HD projector with a bulb life that should last me for the life of the projector. So far I haven't been disappointed. About the only downside is the lack of 3D, and I don't think that's worth $300-500 more. The brightness is great even in Eco mode. I'm not a projector enthusiast, so I won't go into detail about the quality of the image or any of that. I'm more than satisfied.
