Great product for the price. Excellent value. Slim design fits nicely into my son's smaller car and also easily hidden in glove box to avoid theft problems. As a birthday gift for my son it was an excellent purchase of a GPS "package" including auto and home chargers, a carrying case for pocket carry. Blue tooth capable, so you can answer the cell phone right through the GPS. Great technology at a great price.

The ViaMichelin X970 has a lot of good features and works well, but the product was originally design for European use, so it lacks some American functionality. There are plenty of European support and hardware/software upgrades for the device, but very little support and mapping upgrades for the American side. I like the possibilities, but I am unsure if it will be for North America. It takes a while to get use to, but once you figure out what information it needs to function correctly, the X970 is a "dream come true".

The coolest feature on this is that it is Bluetooth, you can answer you cellphone right thru the GPS. It is a handsfree phone besides being a great GPS from a company everyone knows MICHELIN the tire company.

i bought this as x-mas gift for my mom she did not think it was user friendly . she said i was easy to put the info in but it was not good at giving the info back .
