You can buy cheaper, but you can' t buy better than Verbatim. While I usually buy on the spindle and get the slim cases separately, I make an exception for these. Twenty re-writeable CDs in five different colored cases makes it easy to see which ones are music CDs. Sound quality does not degrade with re-writing. With 1000 re-writes per CD, I've got an economical and top-performance set of music. It would be a waste to use these for data, although the colored cases would make getting into the habit of doing weekly back-ups for different functions quite easy. Lots of possibilities with this set.......
