Velocity Micro Mx340 2.8GHz Core i7 Windows 7 Powered Desktop Gaming PC

I wanted to submit this review with the hope that it may help others who purchase this particular model/configuration from VM. Initially right out of the box from day one I experienced blue screen system crashes. While trying to solve the issue over the next 2 weeks, I continued to have at least 2 to 3 crashes per day (easily over 25 in all). It was extremely disheartening and disappointing to say the least. I researched and tried numerous "fixes" - including downloading and installing the latest drivers for the ATI HD5770 video card and the very latest bios update from Intel - but still no luck. Long story short, what finally fixed the problem for me was increasing the RAM voltage in the bios settings: press F2 during boot to enter the bios settings and go to Performance>Memory Overrides>Memory Configuration>Memory Voltage. I increased it from 1.5v to 1.6v. All I can say is that this worked for me and ever since, no more crashes and everything runs smooth and fast - just as it should have from the beginning! Hope this helps someone else as I was not able to find any other reviews or comments about the Mx340 model.
