this product is very good for the price but the directions are brief. It takes it awhile to sync and then it will remove items already stored. How you load the items is how you have to listen to them you can scan through to different songs without going all the way through the player! the USB adapter broke first use and it only charges with Usb on computer.

Really good affordable mp3 player with multiple functions I really like this product

The VL-877-C V-Bop 8 GB Portable Media Player came nicely packaged with instructions on how to get started. Out of the box the first thing you notice is that the USB connector is useless. It is a direct plug not a cord, however many people will have a cable that will work. The user guide is stored on the player and is reasonably well stated. The buttons on the player can be a little finicky at times, for instance pausing when you want to move to another song. Battery life is good lasting for a week or more playing several hours a day. Copying music files to the player is sometimes a hassle as it will try to sync all of the files from windows media player instead of just those selected. Overall it is a decent player for the price.

I got this for my dad and husband for Christmas. My dad was able to use it and likes the radio part and I was able to put oldies into the MP3 player part and he has really enjoyed it. My husband has been able to put lots of songs on it, he has been able to put all our cds onto it. It works a little slower then a name brand, when you press the bottons it takes a few seconds to respond but for the money and the amount of space I think its a good buy.

only problem is thats it's hard to operate and understand. i've figured out everything but how to play a movie on it.

I didn't recieve a manuel with this product. I need a manuel so i can learn how to record and download my music. Where do I get the movies from. I like to record church music live. can I do that with this player?

I am loving this portable media player! I listen to fm 95.7 everyday and though I have not have time yet to download some videos but It's just lovely! I am going to get another one for my brother. There is no maual to give you instructions on how to use it, well, it doesn't matter because once you start using it, you will know how to use it!

I was happy with my purchase. I bought two of them for my 11 year old girls. They wanted an IPOD like mine (8 gb Ipod Nano) but they are not responsible enough for something that expensive. So these were perfect for them. They actually are better than my IPOD because the V-bop has a FM radio and speakers. Those features are not found on my IPOD. The only thing I didn't like was the cheap USB connectors included. They broke apart on the first use and I had to glue them back. The contructed very poorly being they are to support the wieght of the MP3 player because it isn't a cord like IPODs. I am going to try to find universal USB that would hopefully be compatible. I recommend these if you are getting them for young children or pre-teens. The are just like IPODS just more animated and a third of the cost. My girls love them.

we bought this for our daughter in hospital its wonderful even has its own speaker and also records your voice has a working fm radio everyone should own this one it fantastic we really love it so does my daughter my husband loaded it and played with it before we took it to the hospital he likes it better than his i-pod!!!!!!!!!

I gave this 5 stars b/c for the price, this is a good media player. It has 8 gigs of space, but it's still affordable. I wanted an mp3 player to plug into my home stereo. It works great for that. As a stand-alone mp3 player without external speakers, the sound is average at best, but I didn't buy it for that. I will either use it at home, or with a car adapter. The screen is probably too small to make a good video player, ebook, or photo viewer, but it does have those capabilites.Choosing menu functions is somewhat confusing, as there doesn't seem to be enough buttons to easily navigate through the choices; and the users manual doesn't give a lot of help. But overall, I'm really happy with it - lots of space at a price I can afford. It comes with both a computer usb and a wall plug, plus headphones.

I ended up buying an Ipod after this player. I have had bad luck with the less expensive ones. This one does not hold a charge long, maybe 5 hours if I'm lucky, I think the problem is that it's not charging properly. The instructions said to make sure it was in the On position when charging, this did not work so I switched it to the Off position and it actually charged that way, but flickers like there is a short. So I could have just gotten a bad one.It is great that it had 8GB's however the more you have on it, the longer it takes to load all the stuff, and sometimes it has trouble doing this, and restarts itself. I could not get the radio to work at all even with moving the earbuds like antennas. So I guess I cannot recommend this product, there are other players out there and I think one of them is a better option.

I bought this product for my husband's Christmas present great price. My problem if I had never used one of these, the instructions were very vague. and there was not enough instructions. I was very disappointed because I am a person who likes to read and learn how to use the product completely.Also manuevering the the button can be confusing.

Have had problems with one of them not holding a charge & the USB connectors that came with them are not good but we had regular ones so we have adapted.

The product was easy to download informaiton and use. I purchased this for my kids and they love them.
