This is the second universal wall mount I've ordered from overstock and wouldn't order any other type of mount. From directions to installation it's simple and easy and can go on any wall you want, from plaster to wood it's the best bang for your buck!

I bought this based on other reviews here. It is sturdy and has all the mounting hardware needed at a great price. The only improvement I would like to see is that the base of the tv hits the wall before the tilt is complete.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. One disclaimer: I received assistance from my contractor in setting up this Wall Mount. From opening the box to completion (TV on wall) it took about 1 hour. That time includes some trial-and-error regarding the correct 'height' to screw the arms into the back of the television. We were working with a very tight space since my surround sound front and midrange speakers were already in the wall above and below the designated spot for the TV. If it wasn't for that, the entire job would have taken about 30 minutes. This item is rock solid and terrific for the price. My TV is a 40" LCD -- I wouldn't recommend getting this item for anything smaller since the outer edges (L and R) come pretty close to the outer edges of my 40" TV and you wouldn't want to be able to see them from certain angles. The instructions tell you to attach this to 2 studs behind your drywall. We attached the top of the mount to 3 studs and the bottom of the mount to 2. I think that's a good idea if you can swing it, especially since it was shipped with enough hardware to do it that way.

This product works great. Was able to mount my 37 LCD Tv in less than 30 minutes. Overstock.com had the best prices for wall mounts. I had checked other stores and the internet and they were charging way too much. I will definitely buy this brand again!

This is a very simple and secure wall mount. Does a great job and is easy to adjust. As long as you secure it into wall studs, you can feel confident this will hold your TV. There are numerous anchor holes and just by it;s width, you should have no problem hitting 2 wall studs. The bracket to the TV is very secure and locks on with a simple tightening of a screw. Great product at this price. No retail store can compete at these prices.

For starters, I could not find a mount built this well or this cheap in local stores. I needed a mount with a large wall plate because I was installing it in a high-rise apartment building with metal studs on 24 inch centers. This mount has a 32 inch wall plate and the mounting holes are oval to give you a lot of flexibility with odd stud spacing. The manufacturer assumes you will mount it to wood studs or a concrete wall, so I had to buy my own screws for mounting to metal studs. I had expected this and it was no big deal. I mounted a 37 inch TV, which is at the low end of the range of TV sizes recommended for this mount. My TV measures 36 inches wide, which hides the 32 inch wall plate nicely. It took about 30 minutes total to install and it was easy to lift the TV by myself and hook the brackets to the top of the wall plate. You can slide the TV to center it and then tighten the locking tabs to the bottom lip of the wall plate. I left the TV flat to the wall, but it will tilt about 15 degrees. It works and looks great. I would definitely recommend you check it out.

I was very pleased with how easy it was to install the mount. Basically, after locating the studs, drilling the holes and setting the screws, it was on solid. I was mounting on a false wall so I had access behind to place a 2x12 insert between the studs, and used that to attach a couple of additional screws through the mount - maybe overkill, but why not since I was installing a fairly heavy plasma set. Using two of us to lift the set, it was easy to hook it over the top rail. Because it's not anchored at that point, we were able to slide it a few inches so that it was centered on the wall. You then move the anchoring plates into place and set them with a Phillips screw and it's done. You can also tilt the set forward & back using a couple of screw knobs, which makes it easy to position at the best viewing angle. Overall, I think this was a great product at a good price.

This product was easy to install and fit our samsung tv like a dream. Although, I do think you need to make sure you have a little bit of handy-man attributes and the right tools to drive a 3" lag screw into a stud. Easy to put together and like i said fit out tv like a dream. I was worried it may not based on others reviews I had read but figured I would take a risk. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A STUD FINDER, OR CHECK YOUR STUDS WITH A SMALL FINISH NAIL LIKE DESCRIBED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS.

What a an easy unit to install, just minutes. Used for a 42" Samsung, worked perfect at less than half the price of the unit being sold at local electronics store. Once installed unit is easy to tilt using handles on tilt brackets. Would completely recommend to all.

Worked perfect for me. I had a 46" Bravia. It was easy to install and had plenty on flexibility.
