As a Verizon Fios customer, an RF remote is not available from Verizon, so I went to find an aftermarket RF remote solution. I found a good review tucked away in the corner of the internet written by a source I consider reliable, so I took a chance. And I'm glad I did. This RF remote does exactly what I wanted it to do and it does it well. It's relatively easy to set up, isn't overly complicated, and works all the time. The range is amazing - it works from the other end of the house through all the walls. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I do consider it a bit pricey, but there are many remotes (IR, not even RF) that are much more expensive. The layout of the keys is ok, but not how I would lay them out if it were up to me. Also, setting up favorites is a bit clunky, but it works.I'd say if you're looking for an RF remote with features similar to a top of the line Logitech remote, this probably isn't the one. But if you want a solid reliable RF remote without too much complexity, this is perfect.
