I was excited after reading all the positive reviews to get this item. We were scheduled for two 10 hour flights and I thought some movies would help pass the time. Battery would not work at all. It showed fully charged, but when I plugged into the dvd player it would cause the player to not function. DVD player was one of the listed manufactuers that were compatibe, but the batter did not work at all. Definately be careful in purchasing this item.

This battery has been great for our portable DVD player. It allowed us to watch several films without having to recharge. I was very pleased with it. The only problem with it was that it was not clear whether the charger connector to the AC mains had a 110/220 converter as there was no sticker on it. We went to Europe and I would have liked to charge it in the wall there. I did not want to take the risk and try it even though as a travel aid, I expect it to work while travelling.

I purchased the battery to help entertain a 20 month old on a 17 hour plane flight. We found that it not only was useful on the DVD player, but on other electronic devices used by other travelers in our party. It made the flight go much faster especially for those who fear flying.

It was great when I bought these batterries 5 month ago. It worked for 7 hours. BUT it worked only 15 mins when I went to a vacation last week. I bought 2 of them so I could watch movies for ONLY 30mins total durling 14 hours flight.

This product is excellent! I wanted it for my DVD player when I travel. But, found that I can use it with my other potable devices such as my mpg player. It came in handy when we had an extensive power outage in the area. I was able to have my potable radio hooked up and use it to watch a movie to help time go by. I don't think it will last a full 12 hours running a DVD player. But, I used it and got 6 hours out of it. I love it!

I bought this product about 1 month ago for my 10" cyberhome portable DVD player, and it allows me to watch 2 DVDs with one charge (it takes about 4-5 hours and lasts about 5 hours for my DVD player). It is very easy to use; compatible with most major brands of DVD players in the market; it is very durable and reliable; it is worth the cost based on the extended time it provides for your DVD player. I would give this product a rating of 4.5 out 5.

I have to tell everybody out there how great this product is. I just returned from vacation, charged it one's. it was going with out stop. It seems that it never runs out of power. What a great item.
