For the price, this is an excellent phone. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and everything works as expected.

I just ordered this phone to replace some older 2.4 uniden phones. To start...these phones are beautiful and ultra light weight. Pluged them in and away we go. Has tons of features..will read up on them asap. I will be back to order more sets of this phone as soon as its back in stock. Its the best phone I have owned to date. Love LOVE it! So will you!

Great phone, great price. Main base has dialing and speakerphone capabilities great with kids in the house, you can always answer or dial out if the handset is "missing".

These have worked great for the past 2 years. The batteries have gone bad, so I don't know if it's worth buying new phones or new batteries. They performed welll while they lasted.

Our house had a metal roof so a landline was necessary. I was excited to find these at such a great price and reviews were positive. The first few months, both handsets worked great. No issuess. But after that, we started getting serious disturbances in phone quality. My signal would die (though the person on the other end could always here me) for several seconds at a time. The duration of these "disturbances" got worse over time- and would last almost 1 minute (which is surprisingly long). It became a standing joke with my friends with the "can you hear me now" quote. Luckily, we've since moved back to CA and have no need for these phones (only using our cell phones). These phones went right in the garbage when we were packing though. Only redeeming factor- they looked good.

Uniden's one of the two most highly recommended and rated cordless telephone manufacturers. I'm suspicious of Overstock's quoted "regular price" on this system, however Overstock's own price for this system is an incredible low price and good buy! Consumers may be able to find new cordless phones and even perhaps systems at this price, but not with the quality, ease of use (and set up) and features of the Uniden DECT2085-2W-R DECT 6.0 2-handset System, refurbished.

This phone is OK, but the 2nd handset died within a week or two. It was rarely used, so it must have had a weak or nearly dead battery from the start.The other somewhat disturbing thing is that you can pick up on an extension and listen in on the caller on the other handset.Our previous phone didn't allow this. When someone picks up an extension, there is no noise or change in volume. My 11 year old daughter overheard me discussing a Christmas gift I was getting her!Also, I have previously been able to edit the caller ID numbers with familiar names, even if their names don't come up on caller ID. My old phone would recognize the number and it would read "Aunt Susan", or whatever, but this phone still only tells us the number, not the name that I entered.There are a lot of features, some which I haven't figured out yet, but I haven't had time to sit down and read the manual.It was cheaper that most similar phone systems out there, but it's not ideal.

This is a better phone than my other uniden, My other one the volume was too low, but with this set the volume is at a great level and I am able to hear the person talking.And this phone has some features that are great such as the ability to use it as an income for down stairs. Check messages from the handset.

THESE WERE EASY TO INSTALL AND USE. THE SOUND QUALITY IS CRYSTAL CLEAR.

this is a great phone set. Is just like a new one, and we have had no problems. Would definitely buy more refurbished items from Overstock.com The price is way lower than other models at local stores that had less options. We shopped around quite a bit and this is the best value for the money. And you can't beat the low shipping costs. Highly recommend this phone set.

I purchashed this product and was very pleased with the outstanding quality everything was packaged well and it was overall a very cost effecient phone. I love the white color it corresponds with the color of my living-room my husband was quite impressed as well. I highly reccomend this product.

Had a uniden unit for years. Had four or five other cordless units various manf. Uniden was the only unit that held-up and didn't have to replace the battery. The main reason I bought was that the old unit was being interferred with by my wireless modem and I needed to go to 6.0 technology. Great features and a price you can't beat.

Quality is good with the exception of a sharp screech when near running electronics that can only be heard by the other party. There are a lot of features, but does not have speed dial. Overall, a good deal for the price paid.

I would recommend this phone to everybody. I was easy to set up. It looks new and the sound quality is very good. Even my teenage daughter likes it enough to use when she hasnt used anything but her cell phone in a couple of years.

I like the phones. Very easy to use. Sometimes the volume goes low when on speaker but overall, I like it better than the new one brought from panicsonic brand new direct from the company.
