I purchased this unit for my grandmother just on a whim, not even thinking of her eyesite. The numbers on the phone are small however once you hit one of the numbers the phone lites up and is clear to see. She uses this phone with no problem and the answering machine is very easy to use also. If I needed a home phone I would purchase this one. Good price lots of features and a good brand name to boot!

I work from home and needed a new office phone. This one really works for me because I can have handsets in different parts of the house, so I don't have to carry the phone around with me when I make lunch, (or visit the bathroom! :) ). Also the phone stays charged all day. Great price too!

My family has been using for about a month now. Only problem is that the answering machine base charger has a broken charger prong, and won't charge the phone properly. I had to make-shift fix it with a little aluminum foil. Works fine now. Other than that, great audio reception in a one story house with finished basement. Volume is EXCELLENT on all the phones. I'm slightly hard of hearing, so many phones don't work well for me. I tried these phones off of another recommendation from a user that had a similar issue.

It's a good product at a good price. Tho I had a few problems..... I ordered 2 or them, 1 worked fine the other was defective. After a couple of days (talked to the teck guys) . then I was able to send it back for free ( thats good) got a replacement the next week about the same time as I sent the defective 1 back. Another problem with this 1 ~sigh~ The clock dont work on it so, it does not keep time and I cant set tit to record. The since the service has been good so far and fairly fast I think we will give it another chance to get a working VCR. After all The third time is the charm LOL

I was nervous about purchasing these phones for my brother for Xmas since they were refurbished, but they seem to work fine. Only bummer is that one of the battery packs was dead, but that didn't appear to be a big deal for him. I have the same type of phone, and I really like them. I'm not sure, however, what the life span is because both my brother and I have had issues with one or two of the handsets after 3-5 years. My caller ID won't display anymore on one of mine, and his phone suddenly stopped taking messages. Not sure if that's typical or should be expected. Seems the phone should last longer in my opinion.

This phone looks great. It's sleek, modern, and up to date. It has many features, which for the most part are great. The only problem, comes when you actually want to use the phone to have a conversation with someone. The audio level fluctuates from barely being able to hear to having it sound like the other person is yelling at you. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

It is so great to fianlly have phones with working caller id! I can be anywhere in my house and check who is calling. (Yes, I do screen) The sound quality is excellent although it has been too cold to check how deep into the yard I can go and still keep the signal! I love that the phone lights up orange when ringing so it is easy to find when it was not repaced in the handset after the last use. It is nice, compact, and almost cute.

I was pleasantly surprised by the telephones and the many features available. I have had Uniden telephones in the past and the quality is second to none. I would recommend this telephone package.

I would have worked great if the battieries worked. I sent it back for a replacment and instead they said it was sold out! Very disappointed! I was looking forward to at least trying it.

Great idea, bad planning. There is no way to change channels on this phone so if you get interference you just have to deal with it. A lot of time there is a hollow sound to it when you speak, and others there is almost an echo. After yelling at my husband a few times to hang up the other phone and realize he wasn't even near it, I figured out it was the poor quality of the phone, and not a peeper. Also it has distinct ring tones which are a lot of fun to play Christmas tunes as a ring tone around the holiday season, however they get stuck and you end up listing to it all year round. I actually let one of the handset go dead because I couldn't handle listening to Christmas tunes in July. I promise this is the last Uniden product I buy, been burnt too many times by them.

The setup was easy to do. My only disappointment was the NiCad batteries instead of Lithium Ion (not much to complain about). Otherwise the system is easy to use, good sound and no cords except power to the remotes. Love it!

This phone setup overall is great. The fact that only the main base has to have a phone line attached is great. The phones sometimes have a bit of an echo, but overall they are great. This was refurbished, and had some scratches on the handsets, but still work wonderfully.

Got my phones right away, was able to use two of the handsets right away but had to get a replacement battery for the third. Was send a new battery which fix the problem been working ok now.

Phones do not work. I will be sending them back. This is unusual because I've always been very pleased with my purchases at Overstock.

This phone set is fine! I had a set with two I am sure I paid the same or more without the answering system or extra handset. Fine quality, and fast shipping - didn't have to wait in any lines!

This a great value for the money. I think some units are refirb'ed but it still is a great phone. It comes with 3 handsets so I think it is an awsome deal. The speaker phone is clear and you can hear very clearly on it. It has many additional features that add to it's value.

I just switched to this set from the AT&T set that has all the button problems and I must say I'm in love!! I'd say my favorite feature and the one I love the most is that you can set them up as a room monitor (sort of like a baby monitor) since I have a 2 year old. Definitely a great buy!

I have had this phone for a couple of weeks now. Getting the main unit to recognize each handset took some time but once I was able to set that up, the phone has worked almost perfect. Directions for setting up the features is long, but they are detailed and if you follow them exactly, everything is easy to set up. Would highly recommend.

After reading the reviews on this phone, I had high hopes for a superior product. I got the phone home and set it up. It has a bunch of bells and whistles that are nice for a busy home or office, but I was disappointed in the audio quality. There always appeared to be a crackling noise in the back ground and individuals on the other end tended to fade from soft to loud. I have decided to return the phone system.

These phones are great. I really got a great deal!! I highly recommend!!
