This is a great phone for the hearing impaired. I have a 40% bilateral hearing loss, and this phone quality is totally clear. No distortion at all when the volume is turned up. I ordered two, and I am so glad I did. One by my bed and the other at the kitchen desk. I ordered this phone because it has a smaller footprint then most phones for the hearing impaired and such a great buy. I love this phone. Just buy it if you need it.

Every dealing I have had with Over Stock has been very good. The phone was "refurbished " and was as if it was brand new, which it probably was.It was heavy duty and works perfect. It is heavy weight and does not fall off the table when answered. It has a load ring and light flashes when ringing and even has a sound boost to hear better with.

I am hearing impaired and I wanted to purchase this telephone for loudness and clarity. It was excellent with both loudness and clarity. It has a light that blinks when the phone rings. It has a clarity setting for those who are hard of hearing. I forgot when I ordered this that I might need a phone with caller id. This phone does not have this feature, but when my husband answers the phone and I get up to answer it, I use this phone because he tells me who is calling and I am more interested in the phone for the features for those that are hearing impaired than caller id.
