do not buy,,, nothing comes in,,, no frequency,,, and if you get one, it last for only one sidede coversation.

My parents had got me this for christmas and they gave it to me early and I love it. Its mostly all i listen to. Its so easy turn it on and its already working. So don't think twice if your wasting your money cause your not. It's awesome!!!

Dont waste your money like I did. I wish I could return it but I dont have the box anymore.The directions were usless the quality of sound is poor alI I .get is static.Worst purchase I ever made!

This police scanner is really great. I have actually no problem using it. It was easy to set up and use. There were no problems with ordering it or the shipping. It came right on time and works perfectly

Dont know to much about scanners but this one works pretty well.

Works great. Ordered one for my daughter. It arrived today. This is great for keeping up with weather and local police news.

Scanner works great<just follow the directions.THe police channels get some static but the ems/fire is perfect. A good price for what you get it for.

After I programmed my local frequency settings into private, the scanner works great. The other settings on the scanner such as Air/Marine or CB, nothing comes through. But as far as for my use for local police, fire and EMS settings, it works great and am very pleased. The manual is not very user-friendly in explaining the settings and how to use them. I had to go to the company's Internet site.

I keep this one at home, beside the computer. Since receiving it, I no longer listen to the radio or my CD collection since the scanner is so entertaining. This one happens to pick up not only police, fire, ambulance and CB, but also the local Transit Company in central Connecticut and it's positively hilarious to hear of some of the problems with irate or drunk passengers. The downside, is of course, to hear about the distress involved with the ambulance calls and the heartache which must attend whenever such accident or injury requires an ambulance run. Those people certainly earn every penny as do our fire and police personnel.

We love this scanner--we just plugged it in. It was already programed. Great price, also.

It's compact but powerful. Much better for tabletop use than a handheld because it won't tip over. The programming was a little confusing to me at first but should be no problem for anyone with any technical know how. If you're looking for a great little scanner for a reasonable price, you should consider this one.

I was looking for a simple, easy to operate police scanner for use at my workplace and the Bearcat BC350C fit the bill. I needed something that was small, since I had limited space in my office, and I wanted it to simple and easy to program. It was all that and more. For someone wanting a good basic scanner with excellent frequency ranges, this would be the model I would suggest. I also have had a Bearcat handheld scanner for over a year and it is still working great.

This is a great value for your money.It comes with pre sets on fire and police codes,so alls you have to do is plug it in and it starts to scan (great feature). I needed to put up a small antenia, because live in the mountains.

It's alot of fun. A little hard to program, but once it's programmed it's very easy to use. Reception is great and you pick up a bunch of different channels.

I just wanted a basic scanner for my car and this one was perfect. Easy to mount as it came with all the parts I was able to do it in about 15 minutes. I was able to save the channels I use and it was all up and running in no time.

I purchased this for my husband and gave it to him as an early Christmas present. He originally purchased the cheaper Bearcat Scanner and returned it because it didn't have the MGHZ to go above 450 to get our local police/fire/sheriff departments. This one goes up to 999 MHz where you can program it for ALL police channels. He has been playing with this every night for the past 3 weeks in his office figuring out which channels go with our each department. According to my husband, while figuring out how to program the scanner is a bit comprehensive, once it is programmed it does an EXCELLENT job. He is extremely happy with the audio quality --I am too, I hear it all the time :) We are both extremely pleased with the purchase and VERY happy with the price on OVERSTOCK which was considerably less than what we would have paid elsewhere.

This is a good product however due to unfortunate events in our society I think that most of what you hear on this is scrambled so it is limited information. The price was fine and the equipment is easy to operate.
