Excellent product for the price; love the multi functions on this unit; scanner, clock, radio; couldn't ask for more! Overstock has done it again!

Resonable pricing and fast shipping. I know the product was refurbished, but they maybe could have put it in a better box. I gave this as a gift, so when the reciever opened it, it looked like a gift from a garage sale.

This scanner was very reasonably priced. It was however a factory refurb. At first I hesitated to purchase it but it did come with a warranty that you may not get on a used scanner purchased elsewhere. I have bought other refurbished items in the past with good luck. I decided to give it a try. When it arrived, I went through the box to see if it contained all the pieces and it did. I programmed it with a few channels and it scanned fine. It had good sound for a scanner as well. The only issue I had was that it stuck on one channel that seemed to have static. I truly don't believe that it was the scanner as much as the signal causing the problem. I locked it out and it worked fine. This scanner has Weather and AM/FM radio. It is not a high fidelity unit by any means but for a small radio it sounds good. All in all, I found this to be a good scanner at a reasonable price.

Everything was good until we realized there were no instructions included in the box as stated. No problems though. The box had the website to go to with any problems with the product and we were able to download the instructions and loaded the channels we selected. Can't blame Overstock for this......box was completely sealed by the manufacturer. Always happy with O.co!! Fast shipping as well!!
