Uniden 5.8 GHz Dual Handset Phone System (Refurb)

Love all the features esp. how you can have different rings for different callers and the numbers that light up so I can see them in the dark.

I gave it only three stars because it doesn't work well with the existing phone system. I had the original three phone set that goes with these extensions for about three years and thought I'd get a couple more handsets. The problem is that these handsets disconnect phone calls and don't always ring like the original set. I think it would be fine if you were just buying these phones as an original set, I'm sure they would be fine, but to add to another system, not good.

Phones were better than expected. They had some weight to the handset instead of being so light that you can't get a good grip on them. They are easy to operate. One of the phones came with a dead battery so I had to spend another $17 on a replacement battery. I am ordering another stand alone unit for this phone so I have another one in a bedroom.

I've owned the system for over 4 years and justed added 2 new hand sets. The new ones were refurbished but look brand new and work very well. The original system includes an answering machine. I have never had a problem with any of it. Uniden makes good products.
