I purchased this item to add an additional soundcard for the ability to preview music in Virtual DJ. This item has poor sound quality with a lot of popping and crackling. For the low price, I can't complain too much. It did give me the ability to preview music, but would suggest you save your money and purchase a better soundcard. I also have to uninstall my drivers to get this soundcard to work each time I try to use it.

I installed the sound card myself. It was so easy. I am a mobile DJ and I am using if to cue up the next song. It's well worth the money. I have not tried the mic plugin yet. Trick: install the card before you boot the system, otherwise it will not work.

It is exactly what it says, strictly to a headset. It works fine with headphones but doesn't run speakers. Definately was plug and play. Made my mute laptop into an audio player. Funny thing, Overstock confirmed the order and said it would send an e-mail when the item shipped. The item arrived a week after order but no e-mail notice ever came.

This USB headset adaptor is noisy to the extent of rendering the microphone and the headset volumes inoperable in both Windows XP and Playstation 3 environment..

My compuer had a problem with the audio that was built in to the motherboard. It was scrachy, noisy, just did not sound good. I heard about this 'audio to USB' adaptor and decided to give it a try. I plugged it in, my operating system XP found it and configered it ok. I plugged my headset jacks into it and tested it out, Wow it was clear as a bell. This is a very good device.
