It works Ok but it breaks really easy if you bump it. Do not order one...order two. Accept the fact that it will break and when it does have a the spare ready. The price is cheap enough.

i didnt think this little thing would do anything but its amazing i dont even have a sound card and it works greatwould recomend

awesome exactly what I needed.. my laptop's headphone jack broke... replacement was way too expensive.. with this Item I totally beat the system in a sense... Now i can use my speakers and headphones and even mic if i want to with the help of this device.. totally worth it!

Good value for the money. The PC Sound Card Adapter worked well. I was impressed and I re-ordered more since the price was exceptional.

The mic port isn't great, It has choppy audio, at least on my headset/computer, but it might be the fact that it doesn't have drivers, it is completely plug'n'play on windows 7. I recently ran into an issue when it wasn't working quite right, it would have the indicator light on, but barely. Suddenly it started working again, probably a bad connection. I recommend getting two of these. Also the sound comes out very loud, or at least it does on my beats. if it was i little smaller to fit side by side in usb slot not much in between plugs but it works grate with my head phones

I bought this to try and connect a PC headset to my PS-3 which it did not work. *sighs* Oh well. Make sure you know what your buying and what it's used for before making a senseless purchase

This is just what I was looking for after walmart told me they didn't exist.

The item was shipped very quickly and work exactly as desired. My headphone jack on my laptop was broken and only 1 internal speaker was working. This plug-and-play device setup in about 15 seconds and I had quality sound with my headphones and my surround sound. Excellent buy for the price. I am planning on getting another relatively soon.

Not much else to say. It was cheap and it works. No driver to install or anything. It's a great alternative if your mobo sound dies or the mic doesn't work or whatever. Only used on XP. Have not tried on Vista/Win7/Linux/Mac.

worked out very very very well, i.e that is really good, if you know what i mean, yup, yyup, yup yup

This piece of device is the best thing invented. This device helps a lot when your laptop doesn't have a sound card. You can connect either computer speakers or headphones into it. Also microphones too. This is my second one. The one I had before ended up broken. This is why I had to get another one, I felt "naked" without one.

To be fair, I needed the cheapest possible adapter to test my laptop which no longer played any sound--Whenever I explained the problem to salespeople, they would try to talk me into a lot of other items far more expensive than this. So, I ordered this, and was at least able to verify that there was sound, and that usb speakers were the eventual answer to the problem. This little adapter, true to other reviews, fell apart after 2 or 3 uses, and it will not give much sound, so as an useful accessory to your laptop, it's useless. As a cheap tester to my system, it served it's purpose and is now trash.

Love the sound card. The sound is very clear. For any Dj's that needs a sound cards.

The microphone jack on my laptop stopped working, and I didn't want to replace my high-end headset. Only problem that I've had is that sometimes Win7 doesn't recognize it the first time I plug it in.
