Would be great if my drives would fit. I have three different drives from laptops and none of them will fit this case. The connector is different from any of mine so it is of no use to me.

Worked great was easy to install never used the disk just plug and play...the kit worked perfectly...I will buy a couple more fits the slim cd/dvd cdwr and dvd wr optical drives...Thanks!

seems that we all have a few extra optical drives laying around and don't have cases for them, now with this product you can mix and match to any kind or style you want from Mac to PCm someone should have thought about this years ago.

Having been in the computer field for 30 years, I am embarrassed to admit that I actually purchased this item when what I needed is an external DVD drive. This, of course, is merely an empty shell, into which (presumably) one would insert the drive. So I spent the $xx or so, wound up with nothing useful, and it's my own fault. I honestly don't know whether this product has merit -- it had no value to me, though.
