WHEN I SEARCHED FOR IPHONE CAR CHARGERS THIS CAME UP BUT ISN'T RECOMMENDED BY APPLE. TO ME THAT JUST MEANT I FOUND A BARGAIN. NOPE! I FRIED MY IPHONE DO NOT USE WITH IPHONE OR MAYBE EVEN NANO/IPOD. LUCKILY IT WAS NEW AND WAS REPLACED BUT I LOST A LOT OF BABY PICTURES ;0(

2nd one didn't work with iPhone
This item did not work, however it was the second time I brought it. The first worked fine but this one didn't.

Save your money
Terrible product. Plugged it into the car, the light lit up (good so far), plugged it into my phone and the phone not only failed to acknowledge the charge, but it got hot and wouldn't turn back on. I was sure that it broke the iphone but I had to reset it and fortunately it turned back on. If I knew how to return this product I would...

Save the money
Save the money and get a better quality charger. Purchased 2 of these since my other one has had about enough abuse. When I first plugged it in the light came on, then off. Then refused to work. The outlet had power but would not charge the phone, inline fuse was good internally but the light would not come back on. Plugged in the 2nd charger and found that my Iphone was not registering a charge as usual, but my phone instantly got hot. I immediately unplugged it and figured saving 10 bucks isn't worth frying my phone. Plugged in my old charger and it works fine *whew* Overstock customer took care of the issue and will be sending these back for a refund.
