This bluetooth adapter was easy to install (basically plug in and play for my laptop running on XP) and works fine with my cell phone (Nokia 5300). I would say it's a good value for your money. I haven't tried any fancy functions - merely use it to transfer small files (like a few songs or pictures) between laptop and cell phone, or sync SMS, contacts and calendar using the Nokia software (Nokia PC Suite). In this regard, it gives pretty good performance. Though, when I transfer a large amount of data (for example, when updating the whole music library), I would still prefer using the USB cable for connection. No matter how fast this baby transfers, it still cannot beat an actual cable, right?

we bought this so we could put the videos we took on our phones onto our computer and to put music from our computer onto our phones. this was tooo easy to install and works perfectly for our needs. not to mention that the price was oh so right!!

This is my second Bluetooth adapter for my computer. The first one I had was an expensive Kensington model, which broke within the week I purchased it.
On the other hand, I have had this one for a week and it works like a dream. Comes with its own software and makes it very simple to manage my cellphone files.

The case falls off the adapter very easily. But I just taped it on and it works fine.
It's very easy to use, it can copy pictures, video, and music from my laptop to my computer.

Software features and interface to connect to devices is pretty good, but the product is extremely poor. Couldn't get the bluetooth signal to reach more than a few feet before it was lost.

I received this very quickly from Overstock as usual. The mini-installation disc did not work in my computer. I don't know if it was the disc itself or my drive not wanting to recognize a mini. Either way, I had to do a search and was able to download the software. The software doesn't have much of a help menu but through playing around with it I figured out what I needed to do. It did find my phone easily which is what I bought it for and I figured out how to transfer the files. Now that I have it all figured out, it is VERY easy and has a very good transfer rate/time. I would highly recommend this to others, who are computer saavy.

I needed a unit to sync my Palm Tungsten E2. This bluetooth units does the job well. I plugged it into a USB port on the back of my PC which sits inside a small enclosure. I suspected that communication would suffer but it just kept on working.
Installation was easy. It takes a little computer savvy to understand the comm port stuff but everything else went quite easily.
Great price. Many other units are a lot more expensive with more features, which are not needed to sync a Palm Pilot.

It does have a great connection and it does work within the promised range.However the features are very basic and its not so easy to use...not what I expected. If all you are goin to do is transfer small files it will work.

the item arrived very promptly , but I haven't been able to get it to recognize my bluetooth headset. I haven't been able to determine the problem yet. It seems to work at the screen but I still can't get it to recognize my headset.Maybe the problem is in my headset ,so I'll keep trying.

good price but features are limited. I bought it to synch up my cellphone with my computer and found it only synch contact and calendars, i can't load ring tone and picture to my cell phone....
other than that it performance what it should be: easy installation.. not sure how it works with other bluetooth device such as printer ...

This is a simple device that does what I need it to do... connect to my LG CU500 phone. I have used it to upload music to the phone, and download pics off of the phone without any problems. The driver/interface is functional, however you can only upload/download 1 file at a time which can be bothersome when xfering 30 pics at a sitting.
As for Overstockl... shipping was quick (got it a day early), easy to shop, and the price can't be beat. Overall, excellent experience.
