i-Cruise ipod MP3 Digital Wireless Car Kit
from Green Bay Packer Country, WI,  May 8, 2006

The only complaint I have is that this particular car kit did not come with directions! Otherwise, I absolutely love it. It was easy to figure out anyway. There is absolutely no static with this device and the sound is fantastic. The ipod sits in the cradle nicely. I love this so much I'm getting another one to keep in my husbands truck and I am getting one for my brother-in-law!

iCruise Digital Car Kit
from Caldwell, ID,  Jan 11, 2008

This product is easy to set-up and use and is very convenient and efficient when changes need to me made while driving. My old wireless iPod unit was a Griffin iTrip that required downloading a couple of hundred FM station settings and then if you traveled into an area that had a station interfering with your signal you had to search through your iPod folders and find and select the new signal number(not something done safely while driving). The iCruise lets you change the setting with the touch of a finger without setting the station on your iPod . . . WAY MORE CONVENIENT and SAFE! Plus my iPod sits conveniently in the holder where it's accessible and handy. A great product at a great price. Thanks!

Run away!
 from CT,  Oct 25, 2006

This thing is one of the worst products I have ever owned. Not kidding folks. Sound is poor. Switches intermittantly from station to station and can't even see the blurry red display to change the radio station. I have to put the radio in seek mode until it finds the station with the signal. You'll be sorry if you buy one of these.

Mobile music is great
Anonymous  from Chapel Hill, NC,  May 26, 2006

I've had this kit for a couple of weeks now and overall I am very pleased. The unit itself is just a big piece of plastic, which makes me wonder why it is so expensive. Nevertheless, I didn't have any trouble figuring out how to use it or finding a static free radio station. I'm also able to achieve good volume in the car with the windows open on the highway. My only complaint is that every now and again when I try to skip songs, I suddenly lose sound. I don't know if this is because I've done something wrong or not, since it usually occurs when I'm driving. It is easily fixed, though, so I'm not too worried. I also like that the ipod is within easy reach, but I guess that also depends on where your outlet is. All in all, I recommend it.

Excellent
 from MA,  Oct 2, 2007

I love using this with my Conet Mp3 player (although it doesn't allow me to charge the battery because the adapter doesn't fit). I have found that turning up the volume on the mp3 player to the max really helps with sound quality and now I don't even notice it's playing wirelessly. (But before I did this, it was full of static and I had been disappointed. Not anymore!) There are also many different channel options, in case one is used in the area you are in. All in all, a great product with great value!

Bought this for myself, tired of listening to talk on the radio, I could not believe how easy this was and the quaility of this kit. drove thru my state and into another one without any interference. once I found the right setting, seems the lower ones work best, love this excellant for the price, going back and getting another one for a Christmas present.

i-cruise iPod and MP3 digital wireless car kit
from Port Orchard, WA,  Sep 18, 2007

Upon receipt the product is a little bigger than desired but I currently have several truck/cars (older models) and the easy of transferring from one to the other is great with no issues. Very happy with the product and several of my friends have tried and used it in their cars and have already order for their personal use. Thanks for great product and price.

If the power outlet in your car is anywhere near the gearshift, this probably won't fit in your vehicle. The stem that plugs in to the power outlet is fairly long and is not flexible.

Excellent Value
from Minneapolis, MN,  Aug 1, 2007

We bought this product to take along on a driving trip through South Dakota and Wyoming, expecting little availability of quality radio stations. The iPod player worked beautifully. We did not experience any of the static issues that other reviewers mentioned. The only drawback is that the unit is kind of bulky. This caused some issues because of the placement of our power outler near our cup holders. We were however able to use an alternate power outlet next to the middle seat of our mini van and experienced no drop off in sound quality. I like the availability of multiple station selections although we used only one. The unit held the iPod securely and kept it charged. This is a great value.

iPod Car adaptor
from Indianapolis, IN,  May 7, 2007

It stopped working after about 2 weeks. I found it very bulky and the iPod 30GB seemed too heavy for the device because it kept falling over. I liked the idea, but the quality was substandard.

One small glitch
 from CA,  Dec 11, 2009

The product works well enough for what it was intended for and let's get real.... it is inexpensive so as long as you can deal with "you get what you pay for", it is a great product. The biggest problem is this..... when your Ipod or Iphone is in the cradle.... it covers the bottom portion of the dial on my Ipod so pushing play/pause and using the wheel is almost impossible while driving. I have to take it out of the holder to change my music selection. I'm keeping it as it will work good enough for what I need it to do, but I am sure there are a large quantity of people that have returned it for this reason. Definitely a design flaw.

A very good buy
 Oct 1, 2009

My wife and I just used the wireless car kit on a trip from Philadelphia to Virginia Beach and it was a real plus, good sound, easy to use and we set it once and never had to change it again. We had shopped around and saw prices of $75.00 to $120.00 so we were more than pleased with this purchase. Thanks Overstock.com.

I purchased this "Tunes To Go" for playing my ipod in my car. It holds the ipod & charges it while playing it. The product is very poor, if you go over bumps in the road, even slight bumps, the ipod will move because nothing is holding it stable & it will come loose & the connection will mess up & static will come through the speakers, messing up the play of the music. & if you're alone it's difficult to readjust the ipod every single time you go over a bad spot in the road. It's very annoying. The base of the product that holds the ipod is connected to a long piece that plugs into the electric outlet in the car. Well, there's a screw that allows you to adjust its tightness, also adjusting how the base sets. Well, the screw comes loose CONSTANTLY & we constantly have to get out the screw driver & fix it. In the car it'll go loose & the base will fall down, messing up the play of music & sometimes knocking out the ipod. There are little plastic "adjusters" that come to help hold the ipod in place. They're designed to fit the different ipods this tunes to go product will work for. My husband & I have 2 ipod nano's, the latest generation. Well, the piece that's designed to fit the ipod nano doesn't fit them...obviously a very cheap product. Also, the auxillery cord that is the very reason the ipod can play through the speakers in your car - it's pitiful & if you accidentally bump it or if it moves/turns in any way at the part that connects into the tunes to go base or the car - it creates horrible static & the music messes up.Overall this product is very poor & I regret buying it. It's not worth your money, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Great Deal
from Toledo, Ohio,  Apr 18, 2009

I purchased this car kit after my wired car kit stopped working. I'm completely satisfied with this unit. Its wireless and easy to operate with my IPOD. The unit fits in both my cars with no problems. The sound quality is very good with hardly any static while I'm driving around the city. I'll be doing some traveling this summer and will see how it works on the road. This unit is such a good deal that I plan on buying another one for my second car.

i- cruise
 from Kentucky,  Dec 28, 2007

I wouldn't recommend this i- cruise to any one it it's what i expected at all. If you go over a bump in the road it has actions. It sees to be cheaply built and when you turn the i pod off it still has a sound playing. if I had to do over I would shop for a better quality one and do some research about it to make sure people that have used it likes it and then I would make my decision base onr what people said.

I-Cruise FM transmitter
 from California,  Jun 20, 2007

Great product! I was hesitant on purchasing this with my past experiences with the Belkin brand. With Belkin which was more expensive and did not do the job. With this I-Cruise brand I have not had the experience on having to search for different FM station. Great sound too! This is definately worth every penny.

Really "Just Alright."
from Portland, Oregon,  May 30, 2007

This product is kind of bulky and doesn't really close in around an iPod nano on both sides. Only one of the support arms comes in far enough to provide any stability. Also, it doesn't work in my car at all. Doesn't pick up ANYTHING. It does work in my girlfriend's car, but the stations still go in and out quite a bit, which can be frustrating. My car is a 96 and hers is a 2003, so perhaps that's the cause of the issue? Bottom line: If you have the money, go for an upgrade of this type of product. This one just doesn't have the best quality.
