so simple its easy for ANYBODY to use. this product suited my immediate needs. this product gets you more bang for the buck for the average joe schmoe. its scans one negative strip and 3 slides, you have to push the tray thru and capture the image manually Even if you have a pile of 40 slides the time it takes and cost outwiegh the price of dropping off your precious memories to a third party. you can always pass it along to family members or become the go to person for those old slides and negatives. its great for family portraits but if your a professional with artsy scenes or colorful landscapes your final images will have an antiqued blurred look, go for something automated with finer image capture.

According to my Father-in-law (whom we bought if for) it's great! He loves it, and might even load our negatives and slides for us!

It's great. A great way to save all you old photographs. I have a box full of negatives that I wanted to make prints of and its so easy to use.
