This is my first time using Tripp products, but all of my research indicated that Tripp produces quality networking products. I am glad that I was able to get these patch cables on Overstock for several reasons. First, the price was much lower than any other on-line site and much lower in price than local mega-stores. Secondly, the length of the cables are perfect for hard wiring notebooks or other peripherals without the restraints of the more common 3' cables. Lastly, and most importantly is the quality and throughput of these UTP patch cables. If you need to run longer cables from your router or hub, then I suggest that you go with shielded UTP cables to reduce EMI and crosstalk occurring in your network. These work best for LAN setup at high throughput; I am running 1 Gigabit per second with no interference or signal degradation. Almost forgot to mention that these cables are rugged and durable.
