I purchased the Tripp Lite surge suppressor for our new bathroom. In order to make the counter look neater, my husband mounted the unit on the wall about 3 inches above counter, so the unit actually took up no counter space at all. Before that time I used a 4socket unit on the mirror for all the appliances and plugged and unplugged as I used items. Now, all the apps. ie toothbrush, Clairasonic, Waterpik, small fan and nite lite are lined up against the West wall nice and neat. I use the mirror socket for my hair dryer occasionally. The Tripp Lite is a much more durable unit than I had previously used and I am very happy with this purchase. I often buy from Overstock and have yet to be disappointed. I highly recommend this item.
