I wanted to use this device to help get my microphone closer to my subjects. The screw at the base created a great spot for me to attach this handle to a clamp I had purchased. I can now attach this mini mic boom to a door when I need to get the mic close to the subject and don't have a sound tech. The pivot head piece at the end ended up falling off of the plastic tube after a little wear, but I've been able to use some super glue to get it back on. I am very happy with this device.
