After putting in the batteries I found that this product did not work with my IPOD Nano. I am in the process of returning it to the company.

THIS WAS A GOOD VALUE. THE SPEAKERS HAVE A DECENT SOUND. BUT AFTER I USED MY CHARGER ON MY IPOD. MY IPOD FROZE UP. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THE WEBSITE SAID TO RESET AND IT STILL IS STUCK. I THINK THE CHARGER FRIED MY HARD DRIVE. THE IPOD SHOULD ONLY HAVE A 5 VOLT CHARGER. THIS PUTS OUT 10 PLUS VOLTS. BE CAREFUL!!!

I was looking forward to getting this set for my new iPod. I was a little disappointed though. The ear buds are terrible. They have a rough edge around the ear piece that hurts when you put them in and are a little bigger than the ones that came with my ipod, which makes the fit terrible. I haven't listened to the speakers yet, because it did not come with a plug to plug them in, however, the speakers do take 4 AAA batteries. The universal USB/AC Charger works, but seems a bit cheap and the plug is sideways, so it takes up too much room on an outlet strip. The best thing about this is set is the ear bud splitter that can just be purchased separetly.

This was more then I expected it to be. The kids was take it so I will need to get them their our travel kit.

For the price, the value is a good one. I haven't figured out why there are two sets of ear buds, but the speakers and charger are very good. I have an old ipod nano, and it doesn't fit well on the speakers if you care what it looks like. I am more concerned with the functional aspect, so it works for me.

Would be nice if the earphones were made in two different styles, (i.e., the small round style along with the flat wide style that's included), since there are two sets included in the kit. Overall, nice travel set.

I bought the Travel Groove/ipod gift set for the speakers. My car radio was broken and I needed music! They work GREAT. The sound is nice and clear. It folds up small and compact and I keep it in the glove compartment of my car. Everything else was a bonus. I was happy to have the adapter to plug two pairs of earbuds in at a time. I was happy to have a wall charger, too. The cloth carrier is great as I have an ipod shuffle and was happy I could use the carrier to put the ipod , earbuds and adapter in.

Bought this item for my 14 year olds birthday. Based on reviews was unsure of what I was getting but the price was too good to pass up. She loved it and it all works great! The speakers are a little cheap looking but she didn't seem to mind. The sound quality is good for her purposes.(we weren't expecting BOSE). A plus was that the two headphone could be connected so that more than 1 person could listen to the ipod. Overall another great buy..As always. Thanks Overstock!!!

I was initially excited to recieve this kit and use it to charge my iPod nano. After recieving the kit I attempted several times to use the charging unit but it would not charge my iPod nano. I came to discover that it would only charge a regular iPod. It would have been nice to know the modles of iPods that the unit would charge before purchasing. I had to order a different charger.

bought this item to use with iPod shuffle (3rd generation). First used the speakers with a Zen Stone mp3 and was surprised by the volume and clarith of the music coming out of such small speakers. Would buy others as gifts for family and friends that have mp3 players.

This is a greater starter kit for a first time ipod/mp3 owner. Others that I have given as gifts were appreciated!

Perfect fit, color I wanted and ease of use are unparalelled. Fantastic value for the money! A must-have for anyone wanting to use their I-pod on the go.

I bought this because the speakers were small and compact. Sound is fair/god but exactly what I need to listen to books I download. Charger is great accessory.

The quality is poor, but the price is cheap so that might explain it. If you are looking for something of a good or excellent quality keep looking.

An excellent value, this set arrived in a cute gift box, and is just great. Two sets of headphones *and* a splitter so that two people can listen to the same song/story/podcast is a real treat. Highly recommended, great value, go get several before the holiday rush!

The mp3 gift set is compact so it fits easily in your suitcase without taking up valuable space. Its features include a charging unit. This allows you to keep your ipod fully functioning while away from home. The two person headphones allow you to share your music with another person. The speakers, although not stereophonically superb, get the job done. They are not tremendously powerful, but they allow you to listen to your ipod anywhere without the use of headphones. Overall, this is a great set and well worth the money.

i really only purchased this for the speakers to use at work. They do the job, no complaints. I use the sock to keep my ipod scratch free while transporting it. The other stuff is just extra. The ear buds are huge and are very uncomfortable, I don't use them. The wall charger is nice. In hindsight, I wish I would have just purchased some speakers.

For the price, this is a nice compact speaker system. Great for the boat.

Great product. The only thing I was not aware of is the fact that it did not have DC capability. I just assumed it did, other than that it was what I expected.
