Fans are too loud, but the USB hub works
The fans on the cooling platform were so loud that I ended up disconnecting the unit. I'm just using it as a platform to let air get under my laptop now. The USB hub seems to work well, but the wire is so short that you have to have USB ports in the exactly right spot in order for this to work for you. If I plug the hub into any of the USB ports on my laptop then I cannot easily reach the hub to plug anything else in. I ended up giving this to my boss to use and it works well for him. He is leaving everything plugged into it, then he just has to plug that single USB connection into his laptop when he sets up in his office.

When I bought it I thought it would be a lot bigger, but it works pretty well.

Cool Light, That's about all...
I guess I need to really consider taking note of the measurements. It seemed a lot more beefy in the picture, but the piece of plastic is really flimsy. If you're going to be moving your laptop around quite a bit, this isn't the cooling pad I would suggest. I bought three of them. My laptop normally stays in one place, so I don't mind. However, my daughter moves hers around all over the house and she has to prop it up on books to keep it from the slightest wrinkle in the tablecloth. My sons laptop still gets quite hot. I've already considered on buying two of something else for them. The blue light is cool, but as for keeping your laptop cool...I should have probably spend more to get something better.
