This is my fifth portable DVD player. I use them while traveling. I am very happy with the Toshiba and found that it is reliable, good quality audio and video and has a battery that allows me to complete my flight and wait time in the airport without having to recharging. My previous DVD players have not been able to do that for me. I would highly recommend this player.

This is the second time I have purchased a dvd player from overstock after getting a new one somewhere else and having to return it for poor quality!!! WHY DO I WASTE TIME ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!? This product is great!!! Unlike others there is no time in the car when it stalled out because of a bump in the road or anything like that! I really love the quality.......excellent picture, easy to use, great sound!!!! It is simlpy a wonderful product!!! And the great deals I always get at overstock on refurbished products are amazing!!!! Don't hesitate on this DVD player....you won't be disappointed!!! This DVD player worked for a while and then just quit. It was good quality while it worked. I should have pursued returning it, but I didn't. I think we probably just had a dud. Toshiba is a quality name and their products are usually really well made.

I purchased this for a xmas gift,thank goodness I checked it!!! the remote looked like it had been chewed by a dog and the dvd player had no picture,dirty fingerprints all over the screen and scratches all over the unit,overstock are sending me a replacement but a refurbished product that still cost over $100.00 should not be unoperable and dirty ,and it will not be here in time for xmas BUYER BEWARE!!!! everything else I have purchased from Overstock has been great!!!

The machine works fine but I didn't know "refurbished" necessarily meant "top of unit looks like it was dragged across an asphalt driveway." I've purchased other refurbished electronics before and you would never have known they were "recycled." This looks just plain used.
