This is a good dvd player for the money. My only con is that the operation tends to be a bit louder than other DVD players I've had. You can clearly hear it loading dvd's, and there is a sightly noticeable 'hum' as it plays the movie. But it works for me. I appreciate that the buttons on the unit are clearly marked; no guessing what button does what.

I spent months struggling with my old DVD player skipping, unable to play some DVD's etc... This new DVD player is fantastic! I feel like such a dunce waiting for so long to buy a replacement.

My very old DVD player started to dhow signs of dying and I immediately got on O.co and found this Toshiba DVD player. It looked great and I didn't want and bells and whistles, just a DVD player. I am very pleased with the speed of delivery, the safe packaging, and the quality of the product.

This item arrived in amazingly short time. Very pleased with operation. It seems to read discs better than our previous model. My only criticisms are: 1. The buttons and text on the remote are incredibly tiny, so I always have to look twice to make sure I am hitting the right thing. 2. There appears to be no screen saver to kick in when you have to answer the phone and put the display on "pause."

This is a real nice player, I bought it because I have a Toshiba TV, and wanted the same quality. :)

I got the DVD player quickly and the directions were very easy to read and set up. It was light weight and looked exactly like the picture. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a fairly decent DVD player!

For the price, I couldn't have found a better TV, My only hesitation is the sound can be less than impressive. But honestly, I am used to it and the quality now sounds normal to me. It's really a non-issue but worth noting if the TV is for a larger room. Mine is in a bedroom, so it's perfect.
