I was looking for an alternate for the new compact notebooks on the market at a reasonable price. I'm no concerned about weight, but did want the performance of a PC as well as a "tablet". The Toshiba gives me both at a reasonable price. I had purchased a netbook and found it to be to small for active typing and limited in it's capabilities. The Toshiba fulfills all my requirements for a portable PC/Tablet and the pen optioin is very helpful in operating the unit with less chance for the errors that crop up using a touch screen. This is an excellent piece of tablet computer and very robust. Would certainly recommend it to businesses or use in schools as a teaching aid.
