This netbook is primarily for my children to use. I wish I had spent the extra money for a laptop with a disk drive, but I'll just buy one seperately. This is a great value for the price. Highly recommended if you want something portable to have internet access.

The machine worked perfectly out of the box , and I didn't even open the instruction manual ( the quick start sheet was sufficient.The fact that the machine does not have a CD drive limits it's versatility, but the small size makes it very easy to travel with.

I really like this computer the key board is much bigger then it look in the picture which is a plus, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a notebook.

Excellent netbook. Great for travel and has the longest battery life of any notebook or netbook I have ever used. Light weight and easy for travel or just using around the house. Not much memory, but that is not why you would buy this little machine. I have had the netbook for 3 weeks and it has travelled around the world, no problems.

Got this as an extra computer and for the price, plus convenience, I couldn't be happier!

Excellent piece of equipment, advertised details accurate, just what I needed for frequent work away from power supply. The product finish and aesthetics are incomparable to any other netbook.

I gave the Toshiba Netbook to my sister as a Christmas present. I have a 17-inch Toshiba laptop and have been satisfied with it's performance, so I figured that Toshiba's netbook would be of good quality. The product arrived very quickly. After opening her gift, my sister and I set up the computer. So far, it seems to work great! The 6-cell battery can really keep the charge for a long time---the only downside is that the extended battery sticks out of the back of the netbook and we had trouble fitting it in the laptop bag that I purchased (I bought this elsewhere and it is not specifically designed for this Toshiba netbook). I also had to buy an external DVD drive because the netbooks do not include them (and then had to download a free DVD MPEG-2 decoder online because the computer could read the disc, but not play it without such a program). The computer includes Windows XP, which is a little outdated, but perfect for what my sister will be using the netbook for. Overall, for the price that I paid, I was impressed with the quality of the product and I would recommend this netbook to others.
