I installed it myself.
This is my first flatscreen and HD TV. I am very pleased with it. I was able to put the stand on, install the cables for use with DVD player and to set it up for use as TV and output for DVD player. The only thing I needed help with was getting color for the DVD player. It was a good thing I called the cable company before buying an HDMI cable, because I found I needed to upgrade my cable box for HD. I was pleased to discover that I could swap cable boxes and that the HD cable box came with the HDMI cable required for DVD color and that this was a free service. I would suggest that the manufacturer note this in the instructions. As for the delivery, it arrived within the timeframe specified.
