Toshiba 23L1350U 23" 1080p LED-LCD TV - 16:9 - HDTV 1080p

I have a couple of serious eye problems and I can't tolerate very bright lights anymore. But this new LED technology offers a clear, bright picture that is easy on the eyes and appears to have more depth and clarity than just brightness. I like it, and use this small set in my bedroom, with all the lights off, just before falling asleep. They say that it's best to have a little light on when you watch TV, and I usually do, but this one doesn't appear to have the harsh light that most non-LED TV's have, and so I just enjoy it as I in the dark. I see that others have complained about LED sets suddenly blanking out and going to a black screen after a few months of use, so I was a little skeptical to purchase one at first. But that sort of thing could be manufacturer-related, poor quality, etc., even specific brand and model type related. (They were all large-screen TVs in the reviews I read, across several different manufacturers.). But so far so good, with this Toshiba 24", and I've only had it for a month or so now. More updates to come later should I have a problem. I also like the energy-saving feature of LED technology, used in so many products these days. It's just one small way to go "Green," reduce the electric bill a bit, help save the planet! [smile]
