This Tom Tom has many more features than I expected. and is very easy to use. You simply type in your starting point and the location of your destination and it calculates a route for you. It tells you ahead of time what the next move will be, including which lane to drive in and then repeats the instructions. If traffic prevents you from getting in the right lane and you miss a turn, it recalculates and tells you how to get back on track. It shows you where the nearest gas station is and points of interest along your route. It calculates how long it will take you to reach your destination with amazing accuracy. The sound is clear and the images are sharp. It's no heavier than the normal wallet , making it easy to carry. I am totally pleased with this purchase.
Love the larger screen. sound loud enough to hear. even works out here in middle of nowhere. easy to connect to computer for updates. also puchased a dash holder didn't like the window option. Would recomment.
We like this unit so far. At this point the only issue we have had is that the unit had been on the shelf so long that Tom Tom support would not accept the code that was shipped with the unit to upgrade the software. The software definately needed to be upgraded. I like the 3d driving guide and especially the fact that the voice guidance says the street name that we are to turn at.
