I ordered this system after reviewing all other systems and found this to have the best features I wanted. It ease in installation and operation surpassed my expectations. I really enjoy using it plus I find that each time I use it another feature comes up to assist mein finding where I am going to or from and adding it to my systems memory.

If you are getting the tom tom just get this right along with it. The one that comes is flimsy and not worth anything. We went to Myrtle beach and when it got a little hot the thing would fly off the dash. Just did a run with this one and it didn't go anywhere. Is so worth it not to have your tom tom fly around the car.

WAY better than the arm that comes standard with the GPS. This raises the GPS unit up so it can be used with any friction pad, allows tilting to reduce glare and has a much better suction cup to stick to either windshield or friction pad.

Great product. Stays on windshield and adjusts to any position without ant trouble. Much better that stock mount.

Be careful, product doesn't fit all tom tom one units. Advertisment is not product model # specific.

The mount that came with my Tom Tom didn't hold very well. When I would least expect it, the Tom Tom would come flying off the dash. For months I kept my Tom Tom in a plastic cup in the cup holder of the car. Then I rode with a friend who had a windsheild mount like this one. She said it was great so I bought one. She was right! I've had NO incidents with my Tom Tom flying off at me since I put this on the windshield. I highly recommend it.

This tom tom was a hit with my better half ! She was able to program in shopping for our new son's consignment stores around our state and I didn't have to tell her how to get there !!! That's always a plus ... Thanks again

The original mount supplied by Tom Tom was flimsy and came off very easily and would cause the GPS to drop while driving. The problem become more acute after I switched the mount between cars and constant removal and attachment was a problem. This windshield mount is great and has a solid grip and attaches easily and firmly to the windshield - just like the mounts that come with the Garmin units you get in rental cars. An over the dash attachment is included in the box. Need to try this also.

The one that came with my Tom Tom didn't last and always fell off. This one goes on tight, easy to adjust and I couldn't be happier with it. Not expensive and wonderful to use.

The mount that came with my TomTom had a problem with detaching, usually while I was driving--not a good thing. I purchased this one and it hasn't fallen off yet, even on some very bumpy roads. The design also allows me to put the TomTom lower on my windshield so that it blocks a lot less of my view. Highly recommended!

The Tom Tom One XL Dash or Windshield Mount is as good as advertised. It's easy on and easy off design is so fast when you're in a hurry to get somewhere. The original mount didn't last long and my Tom Tom kept falling off.....this new mount holds very tightly. I'm so happy with it......no more dangerous groping on the floor while driving.....it really stays where you put it. I use mine on my windshield because I'm uncertain whether it will damage the dash or not. I'm sure anyone that orders it will be very satisfied.

Easy to operate & set up./ Great to use when traveling alone & can't look at a map while driving. I would recommend it.

GPS has not fallen off the windshield even on the roughest roads

I had to get a replacement when my original TomTom windshield mount got too hot and lost the springiness in its fingers so it no longer stuck to anything. This mount from Overstock.com has more flexibility and reach than the original TomTom mount. The lever-activated suction cup has better holding power and takes less effort to get a firm mount. The arm adjusting and locking at both ends makes this mount less vulnerable to heat problems in the southwestern USA.

so easy to use, cant believe how easy it is to use, I am not easy for change and technology, but i did opened it, programmed it and used it all on my own in less then 5 minutes. I am so impressed with it
