right on time
the tomtom was right on time. i bought it as a birthday gift and my friend used it to navigate around the Virginia/ DC area and said it was just what she needed. So thanks for the speedy delivery.

Works great!
Worked exactly as I hoped. It took me thru downtown Chicago during rush hour traffic and gave me plenty of time to be sure I was in the right lane. No worries! However, after trying to update the map I found that because it was refurbished it didn't come with the latest map guarentee. So to update the map to the newest version will cost an additional $59.00. Even so it is everything I hoped it would be.

Tom Tom One Refurbished
It doesn't work!! I bought a refurbished unit, and no matter what I do, it simply doesn't work. I tried charging it much longer than it said was necessary to get it started, and it doesn't respond to anything. The light is on so I know it should be working, but the screen stays black.

tomtom one navigation system
It was easy enough to figure out, with only a few stumbling blocks. I like all the extra features such as how long it will take to get to destination at current speed, and what the speed limits on the road you're travelling are. However I was disappointed in how many destinations have not been pre-loaded so I guess I'll have to down load them myself. I was also suprised how many streets in my city have not been preloaded. It does work great with destinations that are in the system. I guess the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I do wish I had bought the Garvin numi I was originally going to buy, for just a few dollars more.

great we have used it , afew times. love that you can pick out your voice you want to hear give directions .we chose the the british voice. never mind the radio. never thought we would on this, but the price was affordable....so

Good purchase!
I bought this about 2 years ago and I'm just now getting around to writing a review. This GPS is in my car and stays there in hot and cold weather. I have not had a single problem with it. I always get where I need to go. It's easy to operate and easy to get started. I think it was a great purchase. It saved me a lot of work after I moved to a new city!

Just OK
Because this version does not speak the street/highway names, it wasn't a good GPS unit for me. Also, TomTom still doesn't have my street in its database after more than two years - I would recommend a Garmin, which is what I ended up buying.
