Very easy to use and overstock supplied it at a great price! I would agree that it takes this unit a minute or so to pick up a signal, but once picked up it has never been lost while using it. You won't be disappointed!
This particlar model is an older one, so like many electronic devices, newer 'improved' models have come out with more features. For my uses, this basic model works just fine, as I really don't need all the 'bells and whistles' that other folks must have. A real good buy for the money. These units were quite a bit more when they first came out, which steered me away from GPS units at that time.
I purchased the GPS unit as a gift for my 79 yeaqr old Father. I only helped set up the product; I have not actually used it on the road. Out of the box quality was good and setup was not difficult.
Great value; will do everything that I need a GPS to do. Not all local roads are on the "map". Took a while to pick up a signal but I do live in a rural area. Looking forward to getting to take it on a road trip!
Very accurate and you can go to the website and update maps for free.
