the tomtom was right on time. i bought it as a birthday gift and my friend used it to navigate around the Virginia/ DC area and said it was just what she needed. So thanks for the speedy delivery.

Worked exactly as I hoped. It took me thru downtown Chicago during rush hour traffic and gave me plenty of time to be sure I was in the right lane. No worries! However, after trying to update the map I found that because it was refurbished it didn't come with the latest map guarentee. So to update the map to the newest version will cost an additional $59.00. Even so it is everything I hoped it would be.

It doesn't work!! I bought a refurbished unit, and no matter what I do, it simply doesn't work. I tried charging it much longer than it said was necessary to get it started, and it doesn't respond to anything. The light is on so I know it should be working, but the screen stays black.

It was easy enough to figure out, with only a few stumbling blocks. I like all the extra features such as how long it will take to get to destination at current speed, and what the speed limits on the road you're travelling are. However I was disappointed in how many destinations have not been pre-loaded so I guess I'll have to down load them myself. I was also suprised how many streets in my city have not been preloaded. It does work great with destinations that are in the system. I guess the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I do wish I had bought the Garvin numi I was originally going to buy, for just a few dollars more.

great we have used it , afew times. love that you can pick out your voice you want to hear give directions .we chose the the british voice. never mind the radio. never thought we would on this, but the price was affordable....so

The Tom Tom One GPS system offers a great value for the money. Setup is a snap. Out of the box, plug it in and follow the prompts. Nothing could be easier The display is crisp and the audio is clear and distinct...I especially like the Brit voice. The device is flat, unlike the Garmin. This makes it much more aesthetically pleasing and easier to store. I have been very pleased with the purchase.

It is a very nice one, i got lost and i was desperate, so my only way to go home it was the Tom Tom Gps, i just entered my address and i was guide safetely to home.It is a good one for the price, very ease operation i love the voice intructions so you do not have to check all the time the Gps to see where you are.I like too that if you make a mistake going to the wrong way, the Gps tells you the other alternative. Wonderful i will recommend this little one!!!

I just have one thing to say about the Tom Tom One GPS Navigation System and that is, it does what they say it does...

I ordered this GPS and was a bit intimidated so I left it in the box a few days. However, when I finally sit it up I was very pleased with how easy it was to set up and operate. It is a constant companion now.

This was a gift to our care giver as a way of saying thank you for all of her hard work. She had mentioned that she wanted one. I own a Tom Tom and my husband has a Garmin. I like Tom Tom for several reasons: ease of use, down loadable voices, easy updating, never loses a signal for more than a min, compatable with my cell (hands free calling), graphics. She loves it. Also, I could not beat the price. I'm sledom happy with Overstock. This was a good purchase. Thanks

i found this gps on sale for more than 75% off and absolutely love it. it's easy to use and gives clear accurate directions.

I'm very happy with this GPS. It's easy to use and accurate. I've tried others for which you needed an engineering degree to operate, but this one let me configure my home address and enter a destination within 15 minutes of unpacking it. Since then, it's been really easy to enter addresses and follow the directions.

I already owned a different model TomTom and wanted another one for my other car. The price was unbeatable ($300.00 less than my other one) so I took the chance that this one would be as good as the other. Not only is it as good it is better! The audio is much clearer and it has more features. My only issue is that when I first used it it was set to only use the state of NJ and I thought the map was messed up. But thismodel allows you to use only one state or all, so I just had to reset it to the US.

This tomtom is the best thing ever. We decided to try it out today and go to a city we are not familar with at all. We missed one turn and within seconds it adjusted and got us on the right path. It is simple to set up. You cannot go wrong with this.

I bought this GPS unit for my mom and it took me only showing her how to operate it a few times for her to be fully functional with this GPS unit. My mom and dad both cant barely operate anything related to technology and for her to understand and be comfortable within literally minutes shows just how easy this GPS is to use. This is the second GPS ive used both tomtoms and they both seem to give great directions and are very easy to use. I would recomend this to anyone who wants something they can buy and use w/o reading a bunch of manuals and having to figuering out how to use.

The Tom Tom is my 3rd GPS. It is by far the best value and easiest to operate. I told some friends about the Tom Tom, now they all have a Tom Tom including my wife (I had to buy her one or she was going to take mine).

I've had a Garmin device in the past, and the Tom Tom seems to be a bit easier to use, is more compact, and seems to have more features. I'm still getting the hang of all of the features of this new unit, but for the price, I am very pleased with this purchase, and would recommend it to others.

This is a solid navigation system. It was extremely easy to set up out of the box and is user friendly. I was able to adjust the settings as required in a few minutes and it was up and running in no time at all. The touch screen makes using the system a piece of cake and it also helps that the color screen has excellent graphics and has good clarity (both during the day and at night) . The volume level when it is announcing the turn-by-turn directions is adequate and can be adjusted up and down as required. I actually bought this for my girlfriend who just moved over here and she has been able to find her way around with no problem at all so far. The only drawback seems to be that the US is not listed as one of the countries where you can download the most recent road maps on the TomTom website. I may be wrong on this, but I checked their website and I didn't see the US on there. So far, we haven't had any problem(s) with any of the addresses we have entered into the system. The system has been able to find it's way without any issues I would recommed this GPS unit to anyone who wants a stress-free, plug and go GPS system with minimum configurations to deal with. Thanks to TomTom for designing an intuitive, easy to use system and thanks to Overstock.com for making it available at an affordable price.

My first GPS. Should've spent a little more to get more. The voice does not name the street you turn on just says " turn right ". Also the maps are at least 1 1/2 years old, and to get updates it is an additional $99. Also, question the routing the few times I've used it when I knew where I was going and how to get there.
