This particlar model is an older one, so like many electronic devices, newer 'improved' models have come out with more features. For my uses, this basic model works just fine, as I really don't need all the 'bells and whistles' that other folks must have. A real good buy for the money. These units were quite a bit more when they first came out, which steered me away from GPS units at that time.

I just returned from an 900 mile road trip. The Tom Tom was flawless. Made some wrong turns by choice and the unit recalibrated and rerouted within seconds. It performed with pinpoint accuracy. Door to door from point A-B. Very impressed and will recommend it to all my friends. Never leave home when driving without my GPS. The trip with the GPS takes away frustration and anixety of a road trip. Best money I have spent and got more than what I expected. Thank You, Thank You
Because these were refrib units, if we want to do an intial update we have to pay for it killing the cost savings for buying such a unit. We purchased 7 units some of them are very good others are questionable at best. The better unit that was suppose to Blue Tooth link doesn't. Very little information on these unit for set up or additional features.

I recently moved to a new area and so I was getting lost quite a bit. I bought this thing just to have something on those days that I needed to take a different route so I could get home easily. I love how simple it is and that if I decided to go on a trip a lot further away, I already have something that will make everything easier. It's a great value for the price and I can't complain about it.

I don't know if I am giving fair evaluation of this GPS. A feature I would like to see that I cannot find is the ability to delete a planned trip at anytime and start over. Also this unit does not always lead you to the correct address. To give an example a trip was recently planned to 1544 S Harbor Blvd., Anaheim , CA, the system guided me to 1544 N Harbor Blvd even though I selected 1544 S Harbor Blvd in the initial planned trip. I had to call the Hotel for assistance on how to get to the correct designation.

Love it!Product was as described, worked better than I could have hoped for. Don't know how I waited so long before buying a GPS for the car. I paid 50% less than most stores "on sale" price!Overstock.com really is a great site, with great products and customer service.
This Tom Tom was so easy to set up and install anyone can do it! I had it working right out of the box. The only problem is the base does not attatch well. I need to find something that will hold it in place a little better. It keeps falling off the dash.I would definatley recommend it!

I like the product. Somewhat disappointed in the latest map updates available. I live on a street that's been here for 2+ years and it is still not recognized by the system. However, it generally gets me to or near where I need to go. Considering the price point I'd still recommend it and rate it a good value!

I have found the TomTom One to be very usefull. However, I was very surprise to find out that the system came with an auto adapter and a computer adapter, but did not come with a standard household electric adapter for charging purposes. I had to purchase such an item by itself.
