I purchased the TOM TOM 920 and the mount it came with only worked on my windshield. I purchased this mount because it's the only one I saw on Overstock that would work with my unit, since in California it's illegal to have the navigation system placed on the windshield. I went by the reviews before I purchased this mount and the majority gave it a great rating... However the adhesive does NOT hold well at all!... I had to decide where I wanted to place it and used a little crazy glue to get the base to hold. Also it comes with NO instructions. I had to figure out that YOU have to physically bend this thing to your liking. It was cheap so it is what it is.

Works real good. Would like be able to buy replacement 3M base.

I was glad to get a mount for my GPS that actually holds still. The suction cup mount that came with my tomtom would constantly fall off the windshield. I should have been a little more careful when mounting this one. Once you stick it down, it DOES NOT move! I just wish I would have mounted it back about 1 inch from where it is, but it works fine where it is.
