Magnificent ( refurbished Magnavox 40" led tv)
VERIFIED PURCHASEThis is my fourth Magnavox led television. I love Magnavox television's because the sound coming from the speakers are cinematic (crystal clear and amazingly good). I was hesitant in purchasing a refurbished television and thankful I ended up purchasing this television from Overstock.com since there is nothing wrong with it at all. I saved $141.00 buying the refurbished tv compared to buying it brand new on * ($389.99) and an additional savings of $20.00 on the 2 year extended warranty from Overstock.com ($*) (* charge for a 2 year extended warranty is $49.99).

Excellent TV
VERIFIED PURCHASEThe Samsung HU8500 TV has a great picture, vibrant colors and it’s very easy to set up. I also purchased the Samsung 2.1 Channel Wireless Soundbar System and I was able to connect this sound system to the television in minutes. I only have one issue with this television and it is the setup with an external Cable box. The setup is easy but the final result controlling the external cable box with Samsung internal channel menu becomes cumbersome and it does not work well. At the end of the day you will use the original remove control to control the cable box and stay away from the Samsung TV’s channel setup. Over all I love the television.

Buy the Warranty
VERIFIED PURCHASEI bought this tv and the 3-year warranty. I'm glad I got the warranty. Within a day, the tv started making a loud buzzing noise and shut itself off in the middle of a program. It also kept dropping the wi-fi. I called Overstock and they sent me a replacement - without requiring the defective television to be returned first. I have 45 days to return the old one and the great thing is that I can use the box from the new one. I've not had any issues with the replacement, but I haven't had time to watch more than one program this week, so I'm just assuming it's fine. I'm very happy with the picture and sound, but I don't like the remote. It's awkward and I'm hoping to find a universal replacement. All in all, it's a good value for the price when you get one that works.
