Used to mount a 23" LCD. This is a very well built unit. I was at *** and looked at their $90.00 one and this one is just as nice. The only defect: There are little black plastic trim pieces used to cover the top and bottom end of the bracket hinges. The one on the bottom nearest the TV doesn't really fit and so it falls out. Since it's not really visible unless you REALLY look, it's not a problem. As others mentioned, it is a nice design, The VESA mounting plate (that star shaped thingy on the end) is not attached to the mount. It is part of a separate component that slides down into a little track on the end of the mount allowing you to easily mount or dismount the TV. It makes installation very easy. One thing to consider when installing this is how much wall space you have from the bottom of the mounting plate to the ceiling. I installed it above a set of windows, so I couldn't put the wall mounting plate any lower than the top of the window trim. In this case, I have 14-1/4" from top of window trim to ceiling. This ended up just barely working with a 23" Samsung B2330HD. Here's why: Note that each articulating arm segment increases the height from the wall mounting plate. During the install, you attach the arm to the wall without the VESA mounting plate. You then, mount the VESA plate to the back of the TV then attach it to the articulating arm by raising it a couple of inches above the mount and sliding it down into place. I was initially concerned that I wouldn't have the room to raise it above the mount without hitting the ceiling, but it worked with about an inch to spare. If you've got a limited space as I did, you might want to take some accurate measurements before drilling into your wall. All in all, I am very happy with this unit and would recommend it.

It was cheaper on Ovestock. It was easy to put up if you measure correctly. We made the mistake of putting the mount where we thought we wanted the TV to hang but what you need to do is figure out where the connecting brackets hook to the tv and then measure from the ceiling etc. We had to move the mount down a couple inches because we have lower ceilings in the basement and the tv didn't fit on the bracket without hitting the ceiling.

I have purchased four wall tv mounts and this ceiling mount from O . The ceiling mount had all the necessary hardwire in the box and was super easy to install. The price is about $50 dollars less than the local big box stores. Ships in less than a week. Very easy to install it took just about an hour.

Instructions aren't the best I've seen, but this is a great product. We've had it for a couple of months now and we love it! I recommend it if you need to hang your TV from the ceiling. It comes with everything you need and doesn't hang down too low either.

The built in level is miss-leading about 1/4" over a 60" TV. I always mount my tvs by measuring, and eye-leveling to ensure its pleasing to the eyes. There are a lot of factors to consider your ceiling, windows cabinets etc. If any of these are off, and you do level your tv, it will look bad.

Bought this to fit a large (50") TV in small corner space. It worked as advertised. It is a good product; at good price.

I am a 40+ woman of regular build and I was able to put this up on my own (even though it recomends two people). Once I found the beams in the wall it was easy. I knew where I wanted to hang it and the instructions was easy to follow. It came with a wide assortment of screws and bolts and suggestions for what you needed if if your situation was different then the ones it provided for. I have a 42 inch TV. I am also using it as a computer screen and with my wireless mouse and keyboard I can scan the web from the confort of my bed. . I am a Very Happy customer.
