I haven't installed all the CDs on my computer yet (Windows 7), but the 2 I did worked fine. After you install it, you still have to keep the CD in for the program to work though. I gave the it 3 stars b/c I haven't installed all the games yet, but Reader Rabbit I can read with phonics was fun for my 6 yr old son to play. However, the wording on the back of the CD box is misleading. It says it has the "road to imagination" game, but it doesn't. It only has Wordville Station. It looks like Thinkin' things collection 1 and the other 2 reader rabbit programs will be good. I have no idea how to play Starflyers Alien Space Chase. It's no intuitive to play, so I'll have to read the instructions within the software. It's not a bad deal to get 5 games for $$$.

I bought this software for my granddaughter who is in 1st grade. She loves playing the games on them and the games reinforce what she is learning in school. There is only one CD that has not been used yet, it is for 2nd grade reading skills, so I expect her to be able to use it next year.
