The sound that comes from this unit is outstanding! I have a friend who got a Bose docking/speaker system & she said this sounds equally as good as hers! My disappointment with the item is the fact that my son's new i-pod chromatic will not charge in the unit--bummer! The other issue is that it is not really an alarm clock as I thought it might be; still working to see if the timer will serve the same function. Sound, looks & ease of use still make this a GREAT value.

This system is an excellent value for the price!!" I wanted a system that played music from my ipod but also had a radio--listening to a local morning show is a must for me!! However, many of the other products I looked at were promoted as clock radios that also play Mp3 music. I did not want the small "tinny" sound of a clock radio as I keep a stereo in my kitchen on a corner shelf. I wanted something with the sound of a stereo system that wasn't as pricey as a Bose. This system has the best of both worlds, the Mp3 feature along with an am/fm radio. It is easy to use--even for me as I am not that great at reading/following directions. The only not-so-great feature are the small operating buttons located on top of the system. However, the remote control makes up for that weakness. The remote is also very easy to use with a feature to preset radio stations and the capability to surf stations or tune into a station. It is also easy to operate the Mp3 player and the sound is of equal quality. The sound is clear and has the quality of a much higher priced stereo. Highly recommended for anyone who wants quality sound but doesn't want to go broke.

The sound quality is fabulous, but the display lights (including that odd 'blue halo' are a bit bright for my tastes (even with the dimmer.) Pay attention to the dimensions; this unit is a bit big for my normal-sized nightstand.

This is the third item I've purchased from Overstock and the quality was amazing for the price. I've had two other Ipod speaker systems I've ordered elsewhere and the sound has never been impressive. The bass response is very good. I'm thinking about getting a second one for another room in my home.

Loved it. Very robust and well built in today's age of fast food and cheap toys. Sound quality can compare to Bose. Great stereo sound and a great remote. Very sleek design that can still look good in a well decorated high end bedroom or living room. Comes ready to use out of the box and has adapters for all IPODs. I bough a refurbished item. Could not tell apart from a brand new one. BUY IT. The only thing I missed was not having Bass and treble control or an equalizer. No big deal. Still sounds great

Love it! The sound quality is terrific, the radio reception is just fine, the remote works well, and the docking features for the IPOD are nice...for the price, it is wonderful! I use this table radio in my sewing room; I have several differnt audio set ups throughout the house (a theater room with major equipment; sophisticated speakers on my computer set up; a smaller home theater type of set up in the den) so I am somewhat particular about my sound . This is precisely what I was looking for.

This product is great! I got it for my high school son as a birthday gift. He loves it. The sound quality is very good - even compares to the similar BOSE system for a fraction of the cost.

We are really happy with the radio/docking station. It has great sound for so compact a unit. The buttons are a bit small and hard to differentiate on the top of the speakers, but the remote works well, so you hardly use them. The radio looks good and has a relatively small footprint, which is nice for our smaller home.

I have enjoyed this product for a couple of years now and I simply LOVE IT! I use it regularly at home and I can hear whatever I am listening to (radio, iPod) throughout my home. It is also excellent to play your music at a party function - I've taken it to family birthday parties and/or holiday gatherings and the sound quality is well received by all. It's very portable because it's not heavy and has a power cord with enough length to connect easily to a nearby power outlet. It also sits comfortably on any steady surface so I can usually find any place to set it up, indoors or outdoors! Like I said, I have been enjoying it for 2 years now and it works just great - no problems at all! Highly recommended!

We bought the Teac SRL-Xi iPod Table Radio to take to our condo in Puerto Vallarta. However we like it so much, we will have to order another one for our home.We are not "sound" aficionados but the sound quality is great as far as we are concerned. They have multiple adapters for different iPods and, although marked, I had a hard time finding the correct adapter. Also, it would be nice if the adapter snapped into place - it just sits above the connection. But besides that we are very pleased with the unit and will order another one.

I got this for my son and it works great. He likes it alot and he is a high school graduate so he doesn't like some of the cheaper ones made. It seems like it could be a little louder but it must be good enough as he hasn't complained one bit.

Do not hesitate!! Buy it now, Recently purchased another one for our home, and paid twice as much, but the sound quaility of this one is so much better we use this one at our home and took the other to our vacation home. It' great!!!

Love this thing! It plays all types of I pods and media holders like my sons Playstation 3. It looks sleak and sounds great. Only wish it was a little LOUDER. I like to ROCK!

I bought this for my 14 year old daughter and she loves it. Big sound out of a small package. All features are fairly easy to use. Only problem has been remote battery was dead out of box and it's a small watch battery which is not cheap to replace.

The sound on this unit is wonderful! I just love the ease of use, the remote control, the beauty of the piece. It's great for my older, video ipod. But I got this for my son. He has a brand new, gen4 nano. It plays his music, but does not charge the ipod. This is a major drawback, especially since he claims (he's 11) that leaving the ipod on the unit drains his ipod, even when it isn't on. But I think it will be good news for me. I think I'll keep it and get him a different one!

I am very happy with this purchase. The audio quality is very good for the price. The sleep feature is very easy to use however one area of improvement would be to offer a "45 minute" choice not just a 30, 60 or 90.

Sounds good, looks even better. Good quality for the price. No problems so far with it being refurbished. Impressive sound for the size. I would recommend this product for anyone looking to listen to their Ipod in the bedroom, kitchen, or other area of the home.

Dollar for dollar, a good deal. Amazingly good sound for the price. Is it the same a Bose system? No. But it's not $300 either. It's larger than I imagined from the picture. Nice looking. Easy to operate. Easy to use remote. Really tough to beat for the money.
