One particularly fine feature...
I made a mistake when I ordered this because I had assumed that HD radio was available in my area. However, I decided to keep the item because of one wonderful feature: The LED screen can be set to several degrees of brightness -- including completely off. Previously, I had had a Bose radio next to my bed and the brightness sometimes annoyed me when I was trying to sleep. Now that I "know my way around" all the other features, I'm quite happy with it.

iphone and touch compatible
i have an iphone and ipod touch.. radio works with both and speakers pack quite a bit of sound for a small box. pleased with my purchase.

It's good enough
I've had this thing for a few months and overall am satisfied. The only down side is if you have the radio running it will not charge a docked Ipod/iphone.

Nice Radio
The HD-1 arrived in like new condition, really nice for a refurb unit. As for the problems other reviewers have had I discovered quickly if you read and follow the instructions ALL of those problems disappear instantly. I have several strong HD stations in my area and I love the commercial free HD2 stations. Yes this radio also receives all your favorite non-HD AM and FM stations.

TEAC HD-1 Radio
Good product for the money. Had trouble with AM reception because of auto dimmers on security lights. The AM stations that are digital use FM so this solved the problem. The ipod features work very good also. The controls are simple and straight forward. Sound quality is good for the price. It is nice to listen to AM and not have the static.

It's fine
The HD radio works well, good reception and sound quality. The clock has brightness settings, but the dimmest is still pretty bright in a dark room. The charger for the iPhone/iPod works fine. The unit is somewhat bigger than most clock radios, so space is an issue on a bedside table.

Teac HD-1
So far, so good. Great sound quality for the price. Compares to those I checked out at 2x's+ the price. I read many complaints about the clock, but have not experienced any issues myself yet. Had an issue charging the I-phone, but it was almost completely drained. After giving it a slight charge, the Teac was able to charge it successfully. It is being used in a basement bedroom, and still has excellent tuning. Great weight to the remote. The unit is a little large, so if you have very limited space, may be an issue. I would recommend it though.
