Works for what most people need. Be aware you'll likely need to have a power-assisted USB port since the drive drains a lot of pwer. Also be aware that like most drives they will read double density disks; if you have older stored data in single density floppies you're out of luck, and will need a different solution

I bought this for my son who had just got a new computer with no floppy. He said it was easy to use and the product was just as they said. I would recommend this porduct to anyone.
