very disapointed. unit powered on but nothing worked,CD player, IPOD player, radio. Am in the process of returning for a refund. This was for a rental property and this is a pain to return it.

This is a great sounding system with wonderful lightweight and portable speakers. My husband LOVES this Father's Day 2009 gift!!

When I hooked it up, the iPod wouldn't play and the left speaker didn't work. I checked all of the connections multiple times. Maybe I got a bad one, going to return it and hope the next one works.

Sound quality is fantastic. The look of the machine is cool. Two complaints: 1) It skips to easily when playing CD's. My old CD player (R.I.P.) could play through lots of smudges and skips. This one seems to be too sensitive and skips on the slightest smudge or scratch. To be fair, I don't take good care of my CD's. But still this machine seems too sensitive.2) My main complaint is that it's not intuitive. Other machine's shift from "radio" function to "CD" function if you cycle through the functions, OR if you just push eject or "play." Not this one. You have to add the extra step of manually changing functions. I assume it's the same with an I-pod. Probably I'll get re-trained soon and this won't be a big deal. But it seems like a design oversight.

The sound and construction quality of this product is better than I expected. It was easy to hook up and was delivered within the time frame stated. Two of my friends are each going to order one because they were impressed with mine! Thank you..

For the money you won't beat it. It's not the most powerful system but it's fine for an office or bedroom where you want background music without it being overbearing. And it's compact not taking up much space. It's not 100% compatible with the latest Ipod Nano 4th gen, but only in that it doesn't charge in the docking stand, which is not a big deal. I think the earlier generation Ipods do charge, but not sure about this.

We have been really pleased with this product. The sound quality is very good. I like that it also has a CD player as well as a docking station so you can play a CD that you haven't downloaded. The price was great. I would warn buyers that the subwoofer shown in the picture must be hooked up since that is where the power source is located. I thought it was an additional speaker that was optional. So keep that in mind if space is a consideration.

As always the packing was great and arrived on time. Very easy to install but the connectors are flimsy specially the one connecting the base with the main unit (the power source). It still sounds good and works fine in my home office.

The Teac is wonderful. I was surprised by the richness of its sound. The entire transaction was flawless, and the price was great. I have absolutely no complaint!

I bought the little stero combo for my ipod shuffle and I would have to say that it Rocks!!! I put it together with no problem, but when I had to program the radio stations I had a little trouble with it. After I got the hang of it , it was no problem at all. It has great sound quality and the price is awsome too. I was really happy with this purchase I had made.

This is a great system for our purposes: just playing cds...we also found there is radio capability. Hopefully our children will use the ipod hookup. I had online help w/ a salesperson from overstock that I never knew about...what an aid that feature is. Feel that the value is excellent and expect many years of use from this product.

Love this system, my parents liked it so much they ordered it shortly after I did. Great sound, doesn't take up too much space and very easy to use. It looks brand new as well.

I've been looking for an affordable CD system with IPOD dock. I am very pleased with the Teac system. I like the compact system and the sound quality is very good for such an inexpensive system. I like having the choice to play either CDs, the radio or my 40GB IPOD. The system was easy to set up and with the light weight, compact system, I can easily move it from my living room to my sewing room. Thanks!

I opened and tested the system but haven't used it extensively because it is a gift and the birthday hasn't arrived yet. The set up was easy. One speaker connection wire was a little stubborn but once correctly in place did fine. My 16 year old was way impressed by the sound and the price. This was less than what my husband bought one of those little round ipod speaker systems for! I'm giving this with a new 120GB ipod pre loaded with their entire CD collection (yes, I love them very much) this will be their entire music library and sound system. For this this system is perfect.

I am really enjoying this product. I was a bit nervous, being refurbished at all, but it works well and sounds good. I especially like now I can connect an iPod to it, and use my collection of CDs too. The product was easy to set up and is easy to use.

The transport unit connects to and gets power from the sub by a multi-pin cable somewhat like an s-video cable. It's fragile, the pins easily bent, mine requires you really shove it in to make contact. I may have to return it. This is a space saving design but too fragile. Otherwise the unit works well, sounds OK.

I bought this less than two months ago, we were using the CD player as an alarm clock and that's about it. The sound was great, but the CD player has stopped working. I'm hoping Overstock will exchange it, because it's a great little stereo, if it works.

This TEAC product produces great sound, with such little speakers, with my IPOD, CD's and thru the radio. It was really easy to set up in my den and I am enjoying it very much. Now my wife and I can enjoy the music on my i-pod together. All of this for such a low, low price. What a steal!
