Inexpensive but didn't work.
VERIFIED PURCHASEProduct says it can join a computer to output onto RCA if the video card can handle it. I was taking a gamble trying to connect my laptop, but when my new desktop wouldn't even connect, I knew it was either a false claim or a manufacturer's defect. Do not buy if you are trying to output from a computer to an RCA port on a TV.

Digital Optical Converter
VERIFIED PURCHASEI had never even heard of a Digital Optical Coaxial Toslink to Analog RCA Audio Converter before I bought this one. All I knew was that when I bought my new TV, there was no way to hook-up my headphones to it. I need the headphones because the rest of my family apparently has very sensitive hearing and are always complaining that the TV is turned up too loud. I went back to the place where I bought the TV and found out that they don't make RCA outputs any more, just digital optical outlets and that I would need a converter. After hearing the price, however, I decided to look elsewhere. I don't know if what I found on Overstock.com was the exact same product, but it does do the exact same job at 25% of the cost they wanted. After receiving the converter, this non-tech Grampa installed it in about ten minutes and it works perfectly. All is well in the house again. Don't forget the digital optical cable to go from the TV to the converter.

Happy with the purchase, especially the price
VERIFIED PURCHASEI was relieved to find this product and the price made me so excited. I bought a TV without a stand and did not want to mount it. I also did not want to pay for a new stand with the mounting brackets. We lucked up on a good deal for the TV and went for it but we weren't ready to purchase a new living room set. I searched the internet for a universal stand and they were mostly wall mounts and expensive anyway. I was about to give up when I found this one. That was it. End of search! It was not the best looking but does the job well. Looks good wirth my TV, easy to put together. Very well balanced. Only problem was when my husband put opposite sides on for the legs. It tilted forward and took some confusing investigation to figure it out, but perfect once we did.

Great Product for the Price
I bought this product to use in the corner of a living room with very precariously placed windows. It is very space-efficient, and is a great alternative if you don't want to mount to a wall. The product advertises good cable management, however I didn't think this was the case and had to tape all of my cables behind the stand so as not to show. In general, it wasn't terribly hard to put together. I definitely recommend using an electric screwdriver to save time. It probably took a little over an hour and a half to put together. I did it by myself; it's entirely possible, although may be easier with two people. There were some fussy pieces that required patience and a little brute force, but overall not bad for assembly. The product is pretty sturdy, a little wobbly, but I don't think it's going anywhere. The directions inside say it can hold up to a 70 lb TV. I personally wouldn't trust it with 70 lbs, but most TVs don't weigh that much anymore (unless it's plasma). I mounted a 42" Vizio TV (~25 lbs) with little difficulty, although I had to stuff some electrical tape under one of the brackets, because the TV was slightly crooked. The stand comes with some screws to mount the TV, if your TV didn't come with any. However all of the screws were oversized. Most new TVs will use an M4 sized screw, and the smallest one in the kit is an M6. You might need to go to the hardware store for screws and washers (the washers in the kit will likely be too large for an M4, if this is the case)

VERIFIED PURCHASEWe just moved into a new house - 2 weeks ago. so far this product appears to be extremely proficient, heavy and sturdy... compared to $300-400. at big box stores, can't imagine they would be any better. Very substantial product...
