I have to be honest and say that this DVD player is not all that great....it does get the job done by playing DVD of course but the price was pretty high...I decided to go for it mainly because I thought the higher price tag would account for the better speaker quality...I was in fact wrong....I think the picture quality is ok....but I really don't think it justifies it's cost....if I had to recommend to anyone, I would say do yourself a favor and buy one of the less expensive models....I've seen some of them and they work about the same as mine and cost half or less than half of what I paid....
