  Incremental backups:

• Previous versions of Norton Ghost required you to back up an entire drive whenever you performed a backup.

  Symantec Recovery Disk:

• Take advantage of the new Norton Ghost 9.0 capabilities and backup image file format (.v2i) and still be able to access and restore backup images created by earlier versions of Drive Image (.pqi) and Norton Ghost (.gho).

  Ability to save backups to USB and FireWire drives and to DVD:

• With Norton Ghost, you can save backups to USB and FireWire drives and to DVD as well as to a local drive, network drive, or other removable media (such as CD-R, CD-R/W, Zip, or Jaz drives).

  Mount backup images:

• Mount a backup image as a drive letter that appears in Windows Explorer and My Computer for quick recovery of folders and files.
