The unit does not operate like other dvd recorders. I cannot get the pause button to work at all during recording. And please do not waste your time calling customer service. Customer Service is no help at all. I would recommend depending on what you are using the unit for. Price wise it is great. As for as operating like other recorders it is very poor. Wish someone knew how or if the pause button works duirng recording.
