I love this tv/dvd player. I purchased it to use in my office and it works great without being connected to cable. Also, to my surprise I am able to pick up 11 channels!!!
PROS: Compact, light weight, built-in LI-ION battery, AV inputs and outputs, good picture, full function compact remote, NTSC analog cable TV tuner as well as an ATSC digital OTA tuner with descent sensitivity, 12v cigarette & AC power adapters included, a good value for all that it offers. CONS: 1-1/2 hour play time on the internal battery means that it won't make it through most movies, the internal battery is not user replaceable, DVDs always play at 16:9 aspect ratio and can't be changed to 4:3 (makes older 4:3 movies look bad), ATSC digital TV reception is useless with the small included antenna unless you can actually SEE the transmission tower and you are not in motion so it really isn't a true portable TV like what we are all used-to (it's not the TV's fault, it's a drawback of the ATSC system, ATSC reception is fine with a good outdoor antenna), the built-in speakers are not loud enough for use in a car environment, VERY poor headphone jack position, doesn't have a built-in stand and the included stand is removeable but doesn't fold (which really hurts it's portability).

The TV/DVD player is nice and works as advertised, with one exception. The volume on the unit does not go up very high. When you're in a car traveling down the highway you can barely hear the sound coming out of the speakers over the road noise. I don't know if this is a design issue, or if we have a faulty unit, but I intend to contact Overstock.
I love everything about this little TV. It has all of the features of a larger TV and the picture and sound that I get is very clear. The DVD player has great sound and picture. My only frustration is that I get very few channels and no main ones. I am using it in my office which is in a concrete building so I am not sure I can fault the TV itself. I haven't had a chance to try it in a different location but have tried to move it around in my office and have rescanned the channels several times but no real luck. I even tried to attach a better antena to it without much difference.
